The Dave Kane Memorial Golf Outing began in 2021 to honor Dave’s life, celebrate one of his favorite hobbies, and bring our community together for a meaningful cause. Since our inaugural event, we have been humbled by the outpouring of support from friends and family, which has allowed us to make a lasting impact on several important organizations and families in need. A Look Back at Our Journey Over the past five years, our outing has evolved into a powerful tradition of remembrance and philanthropy. Through the generosity of our participants and sponsors, we have proudly supported: The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP): Contributing to their vital advocacy, education, and support programs. The Comfort Zone Camp: Providing transformative bereavement camps for children who have experienced the loss of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. Colin Kane’s College Fund: Ensuring a bright future for Dave’s son. Direct Community Support: Extending financial assistance to families navigating difficult health battles, including support for Kristen Karaitis during her courageous battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, honoring the memory of Jessica Mulvihill during and following her fight against Glioblastoma, and standing with the surviving family of Amanda Neufield. The 6th Annual Outing We are honored to continue this tradition. For our 6th annual event, we are expanding our outreach. All funds raised this year will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Comfort Zone Camp. Additionally, this year we are proud to introduce a new focus on charities specializing in providing care and resources for families navigating the grief of stillborn loss.
