We are thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament supporting the award-winning Mariachi Tierra de Plata from Robert O. Gibson Leadership Academy. After two years of incredible community support, we’re back on the course to ensure our talented student musicians have the resources they need to thrive. About Mariachi Tierra de Plata As the premier student ensemble at Robert O. Gibson Leadership Academy, Mariachi Tierra de Plata is more than just a band - it's a cultural cornerstone. Our dedicated young musicians serve as ambassadors of heritage, performing at local festivals, school events, and prestigious national conferences. Through every note, they build leadership skills and preserve a vibrant musical legacy. Why Your Support Matters In our third year, the goal remains clear: providing a professional-grade experience for every student. All proceeds from this tournament will directly fund: Instruments : Repairing our current collection and purchasing new, high-quality violins, trumpets, and guitarróns. Uniforms : Outfitting our performers in traditional trajes de charro so they can represent Gibson Leadership Academy with pride. Travel : Covering the rising costs of transportation and registration for state and national performances. They will be performing in Walt Disney World in January 2027.
